Let's Makan Serves Delicious Food With Poor Service

Negeri Sembilan: Let's Makan is one of the places that people in the state said we should go before we die. You just have to search for "Ge’ Dabucks Food Station, Negeri Sembilan", and it will lead your way. Albeit being famous for its delicious chicken wings and other food, the service is very poor.

The food station opens daily at 5 p.m. and people started to queue up even before that. Under the hot evening sun, their system of taking order was extremely slow -- it took about 15 minutes per customer. Nevertheless, the hygiene of the food station was very good.

This slow-going operation was because of the unprofessional, one and only server at the counter who often talks with her friends in the kitchen and do unnecessary thing while talking to the customer, such as arranging the chicken boxes. But, despite the poor operating system, the waiter was smiling throughout the ordering process.

The hot and spicy and barbeque chicken wings, regular mac and cheese, cheezy chicken popcorn were delivered to the table after 45 minutes of waiting. Apart from the bad service, the textures of the food seems inviting and mouth-watering.

Both chicken wings are RM8.00 per box, there are three chicken wings and three drumsticks inside the box. The price is very suitable for the portion since the size of the chickens too are big.

The hot and spicy chicken wings are not very spicy like in Kyochon or Kfry restaurants. The sauce is too sour and it cuts the spiciness of the chicken. It looks savoury but the taste is a little bit dry.

However, the barbeque chicken wings are very tasty. The smell was nice, the taste blends well in the mouth and the spices are not too much. It is also spicy but to the level which we can handle, the spiciness is not like the chicken wings in Kfry restaurant.

Regular mac and cheese is a total mind blown for the people who like cheese for only RM3.00. The cheese overflow in the box but it does not overshadow the taste of the macaroni. The simple combination of only macaroni and cheese creates a rich taste overall.

Moreover, cheezy chicken popcorn is only RM8.00 and it has a unique taste on its own. The cheese are just nice and it’s not spilling over the chicken. This chicken popcorn is suitable for spicy lovers since it is too peppery.

Nevertheless, the food were rated 4/5 stars solely from the taste. In addition, the scenery of the green hills stimulates the appetite. Thus, Let’s Makan is surely a place to go and eat but requires high patience for its service.
