Festival Za'ba 2018 – Bon Appetit !

PETALING JAYA: On 9th April, in regard to Festival Za'ba (FEZBA) , a food festival was held in Kolej Zaba which lasted for one whole week.
There were approximately 20 stalls being set up in the Kolej, nearby the cafe area selling varieties of food ranging from local, to Italian, Western and Japanese cuisine.
Dishes such as Nasi Kerabu, Nasi Dagang, Pizza, Meatballs, Wedges and Takoyaki received more attention as compared to others, as these dishes were not easily available at the cafes in the university.
There were also a number of stalls selling drinks and beverages such as carbonated drinks, juices and smoothies. One of the most purchased beverages which got people lining up, was definitely the famous “Ais Kepal Milo.”
Apart from this, other preferred beverages to quench the thirst were Mango Smoothie and The Ais Madu.
When asked regarding on why they prefer buying at the food festival, most of them gave the same answer. Nur Amirah Ismail, 20, who is staying in KK8, said, “ The food is at affordable prices and most of the food is not available in our cafes.”
Over all, the festival was definitely a success considering the huge number of students who went to the festival throughout the week. The highest selling would be during lunch time and in the evening as most students do not have class during this hour.
